Story Behind the Piece

Rosalie came to me when I was making jewellery with a friend. There is something about making things alongside someone you love that ends up in the piece itself. She is all about that, pure friend love, the dreamy kind.

Artist Notes

I hand wire wrapped each component of Rosalie, letting the combination of the heart bead, the irregular ink filled beads and the rose quartz build into something that felt complete. The rose quartz at the base was the anchor, everything else arranged itself around her. I assembled all the hardware by hand to finish the piece.

About the Series

La Luminosa means "the radiant" in Italian. This collection started with one thing, my love of sparkle and reflections of light. I wanted it to feel light and airy, a culmination of my exploration of new materials in the Summer of 25/26.
