Responsibility

Description

Responsibility is an embroidery hoop artwork, a dense accumulation of beadwork filling the available space, structured and contained. I kept thinking about how much of life is held together by quiet effort that no one sees. Responsibilities accumulate slowly until they become part of everyday existence. This piece reflects that steady weight. It's less about struggle and more about endurance.

Part of my Sparkle Series exploring the inner experiences that shape everyday life but are often kept private, this piece is entirely one of a kind. Presented in an 8.8 x 8.8 cm wooden embroidery hoop, colourful wall art ready to hang or display on a shelf, created in my Melbourne studio.
