Introducing Lottie Vase, a small heart ceramic magnet from the La Luminosa collection. She features a hand painted yellow bordered vase filled with little flowers, warm and sweet on a creamy stoneware base. The kind of thing you put on your fridge and smile at every single morning. Two neodymium magnets on the back so she stays put. One of a kind, handmade in Melbourne.

Story Behind the Piece

Lottie came from my inner child and a love of all things sweet and delicate. Butterflies and bows, flowers and stars. The motifs I keep coming back to are the ones that remind me of seeing the world with fresh eyes, finding joy in the smallest, prettiest things.

Artist Notes

Each Lottie magnet is rolled, cut with a small heart cutter and hand painted using nail polish brushes for the fine detail work. Underglaze goes on before a clear glaze coat and firing. Two neodymium magnets are attached by hand after the second firing. Small hearts are one of my favourite shapes to work with.

Care Instructions

Handle with care as ceramic can chip if dropped
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth
Do not submerge in water
The magnet is strong but avoid hanging heavy items from it

About the Series

La Luminosa means "the radiant" in Italian. This collection started with one thing, my love of sparkle and reflections of light. I wanted it to feel light and airy, a culmination of my exploration of new materials in the Summer of 25/26.
