Story Behind the Piece

Evelina came to me from a fascination with what crystals mean individually and what happens when you bring them together. Fluorite for clarity, amethyst for calm, rose quartz for love, clear quartz for light. These stones have been forming inside the earth for millions of years, polished by time into something beautiful. There is something humbling about wearing that.

Artist Notes

I hand wire wrapped each crystal chip individually, building Evelina bead by bead. The combination of translucent and opaque crystals creates a surface that catches light differently from every angle. Natural, irregular, completely unrepeatable. I assembled all the hardware by hand to complete the piece.

About the Series

La Luminosa means "the radiant" in Italian. This collection started with one thing, my love of sparkle and reflections of light. I wanted it to feel light and airy, a culmination of my exploration of new materials in the Summer of 25/26.
