You will not find these anywhere else. Handmade from scratch in Melbourne.

Story Behind the Piece

Abigail came from a love of the diamond silhouette and the way it sits when worn, pointed at the bottom, wide in the middle, always elegant. Because these are small I sometimes use them as glaze test tiles, exploring colour combinations and glaze interactions. You never quite know what will come out of the kiln, which I love.

Artist Notes

I hand build each Abigail from stoneware clay, cut to shape and hand painted with layered underglazes before a clear or coloured glaze coat. After the second firing I attach all the hardware by hand. The lightness of the finished piece always surprises people.
