Introducing Zarina Candle, she comes in a gold tin with a holographic rainbow label designed and illustrated by me, each one featuring a unique little icon based on the scent inside. Floral Symphony, Baklava, Caramel Vanilla, Fresh Roses, Thai Lime and Mango and more, 17 scents in total covering everything floral, fruity and sweet. These are all my favourite scents poured into one collection. Hand poured in Melbourne using a coconut and soy wax blend. Vegan and cruelty free. 125g, approximately 25 to 30 hours burn time.

Story Behind the Piece

Zarina started with the labels. I love making the little illustrated icons for each scent, a rose for Fresh Roses, a slice of baklava, a vanilla pod. The holographic sticker paper catches the light and makes the whole thing feel like a dopamine hit before you have even opened the tin. This is the collection I want to keep building, new scents, new icons, the same shiny flashy joy.

Artist Notes

Every element of Zarina is made by me, the label illustration, the label design, the hand poured wax. I chose coconut soy for a cleaner, longer burn and a smooth creamy finish. The gold tin keeps everything contained and looks beautiful on a shelf or bedside table.

Care and Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Allow wax to pool to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling
Keep wick trimmed to 5mm before each burn
The vessel may become hot during use, place on a heat safe surface
Do not move a burning candle
Discontinue use when 1cm of wax remains
