What I'm Made Of is a maximalist embroidery-hoop artwork, with a richly layered surface of beads, sequins, charms, and small tassels forming a unified field, individual elements remaining visible within the larger whole. This piece is a personal collage of everything that shaped me, like the people I love and the experiences I've had. Each part messy, joyful, and sparkly af.
Part of my Sparkle Series exploring the inner experiences that shape everyday life but are often kept private, this piece is entirely one of a kind. Presented in a 22 x 22 cm wooden embroidery hoop, colourful wall art ready to hang or display on a shelf, created in my Melbourne studio.
