I Meet You Where You Are

Description

I Meet You Where You Are is an embroidery hoop artwork, beads, sequins and reflective beadwork responding to one another across the cotton ground, the surface staying open and adaptive throughout. I was thinking about how energy moves between people. What we give out doesn't disappear, it shifts and eventually comes back in some form. This piece is about that exchange and how connection happens within it. It's a quiet meeting point.

Part of my Sparkle Series exploring the inner experiences that shape everyday life but are often kept private, this piece is entirely one of a kind. Presented in a 14 x 14 cm wooden embroidery hoop, colourful wall art ready to hang or display on a shelf, created in my Melbourne studio.
