Depth In Trusting

Description

Depth in Trusting is a hand-stitched beaded textile artwork, layered beadwork that draws inward across the cotton base to create a sense of gradual depth, with repetition building structure across the surface. I tend to trust people deeply until I have a reason not to. After that, the trust doesn't disappear, but it never goes back to the same depth. This piece came from reflecting on how trust changes rather than simply ending. It's about that quieter, more cautious kind of openness.

Part of my Sparkle Series exploring the inner experiences that shape everyday life but are often kept private, this piece is entirely one of a kind. Presented in an 8.8 x 8.8 cm wooden embroidery hoop, colourful wall art ready to hang or display on a shelf, created in my Melbourne studio.
