Story Behind the Piece

Anna came to me from a love of the single bead, nothing more, nothing less. The pink is soft and the sparkle is subtle and she has this quality of looking almost fragile but actually being quite solid. Sometimes the simplest things are the most satisfying to make.

Artist Notes

I assembled Anna by hand in Melbourne, choosing the bead for its colour and the way it catches light. Simple, considered, done.
